Nathan's Mom

This is nathan's Mom again. Yep, he hates it when I do this. I only write on his blog when I MUST. Tonight I MUST write and tell you how much I'm missing Nathan while I'm in the states. I wish he was here so I could talk with him and hear about what's happening in his life. He is one of my all time favorite people and I like spending time with him and I MISS HIM! So I just wanted to write and let you know that Nathan's Mom misses him tonight!

This is nathan's mom - again! I've been working on finishing a blanket I've knitted for a wedding gift. I've been taking pictures of the finishing process to put on my blog. I just downloaded the photos and amongst my knitting photos I see this one of nathan's face. close-up. smiling. why? how did this get on my camera? in the middle of my knitting?

So I decided to post it and see if you had any ideas what Nathan was doing in this photo. Post your best ideas...what is nathan doing/thinking/feeling in this photo? And why was it with my knitting?

What Wii games are for

I am a genius. OK so not technically, but its fun to say it. At a new cafe that opened up near our house, there's a picture on the wall. It's a picture of New York city. And i being a genius recognized it, not because i have been there ( which i haven't ) but because i have played the Wii game Spider man 3. In it you swing past one of the buildings in the center of the picture. And so technically video games are good for you. So next time someone want's you to buy them a video game, buy it it could help!

Christmas Photos

This is the Christmas Elf putting on some photos so you can see all Nathan's hard work decorating for this festive season. Nathan worked hard on the fragile nativity, the snowman display on the piano, and fixing lights. The house is beautiful and we're enjoying his hard work!

P.S. Ask him how many chocolate chip cookies he ate while decorating!

On the night we decorated
all through the house
nothing was stirring
not even a mouse,
except my family and Becca working downstairs. Today we set up our christmas decoration's. I started out not doing much, but later i was pelted by people saying my name."Nathan, come help me with__________"
or "Nathan, bring me __________".I did:
1. I dusted off the entire piano
2. I put little fragile snowmen thingies
3. I set light's around the little fragile snowmen thingies
4. we (me and my mom) found out that we had the wrong light's,so
5. I also had to fix the light's that weren't working because one of them was out so they all were out ( i also got 50 Kc( 2 and a half dollars))
6. Took picture's of our decoration's
7. Started writing on my blog about decorations.
And that's about all.

It's Sunday and as usual i went to church. At our church we have other event's than just church. This month we are having a thing called coffe with the pastor and so i went. Tonight at church they wanted someone who went to talk about it. And so for the first time in my life i talked in front of my church. It was really cool.

I am replying to a comment that was given to me by a very special reader: MY GRANDMOTHER. She say's, and i quote What is a Iphone? i am too old to know these new hi'tech stuff. And so i am now going to explain it. A Iphone is a mobile phone and a Ipod together. A ipod is a thing that can play music and play movies/tv shows. A mobile phone is a phone that can be transported. A phone is a way to talk to someone far away. If you don't know what a person far away is then you either don't speak english or you are really really REALLY old.

I am right now writing this on a Iphone. It is really hard to wright, but it's worth it. it is not mine, it's my dads. It's really cool but it can't play games on the Internet. I have to go.

Olympics

This is Nathan's Mom again. Nathan can't write on his blog today because he's so oppressed by his mother that he's depressed! He was woken up by his gorgeous and delightful mother at 9am. The sun was shining. The dog was happy to see him this morning. BUT his mother (wonderful & imaginative) MADE HIM watch the olympics instead of cartoons. Yep, cuddling on the couch mid-morning watching...THE OLYMPICS. You can see the torture in that scenario. Nathan was in so much emotional pain by this dreadful event that he's thinking of re-writing his wedding vows to sound something like this: "I promise to love & protect you and never make you watch the olympics instead of morning cartoons."

During the olympic torture we did find out that czech & slovakia are experts at kayak slolam - an event we didn't even know was in the olympics. Fun to hear it was the Slovak National Event - and then to cheer for both Slovak & Czech. Torture with an international twist!

MY BROKEN BUTT! (no pictures available)

Yesterday I Nathan Pitcher did something dangerous! I (pause) FELL OF A TRAMPOLINE! And doing so i BROKE MY BUTT!!!!!!! OK. I only broke my tail bone.* Butt it's so much more fun to that i broke my BUTT! It hurt's allot butt it's getting better. I't started out as a good move in a game that we played at the Ellenwood's. The game was dogeball and we played it on the trampoline. 2 people are on the ground trying to get the 2 people on the trampoline out and then you switch. I was on the trampoline with Noah. The ball went soaring at Noah and i pushed him aside so that the ball missed him butt in doing so i fell of the side of the trampoline. Butt before i fell i grabbed on to a branch and started screaming for help. Nobody helped me and so the branch broke. I FELL AND BROKE MY BUTT(tail bone)! If Noah was a hot girl and if we were in a movie than he would kiss me because i hurt myself to save her (him), butt alas this is real life and Noah is a guy. Anyway i have to go get lunch.

*In this post i am going to wright BUT as BUTT. That should be in some chemistry class, BUT=BUTT.
